jupiterpergola.com, why we collect it, who else sees it, and how
to tell us to stop. It is written to be read, not to be survived.

We are the party that decides what happens to the information described below. If you want
something changed or deleted, the addresses above reach a person.
What we collect
Three things, and nothing else:
1. What you type into a form
When you request a quote, ask a question, or apply to our dealer program, we receive what
you put in the fields — typically your name, email address, telephone number, the
location of the project, and whatever you tell us about it. We collect this because we cannot
answer you otherwise. We keep it for as long as we are working with you, and for a period
afterwards so that we can honour warranties and answer questions about work we have already
done.
2. What your browser sends automatically
Our web host records ordinary server logs: IP address, browser and device type, the pages
requested, and the time of the request. Every website does this, and it is how we and our host
identify abuse, spam and outages. These logs are not used to build a profile of you and are
discarded on our host’s normal schedule.
3. Cookies, but only if you say yes
We would like to know which pages actually lead to inquiries, and to show our advertising to
people who have already looked at our work. Both of those need cookies. We do not set
them unless you accept them. When you first arrive you are asked, and until you answer,
analytics and advertising storage stay switched off.
The cookies that carry out that choice are the only ones set regardless: a single small
record of what you decided, so that we do not ask again on every page. It contains your answer
and the date, nothing more.
Changing your mind
You can reopen your cookie choices at any time from any page
on this site, and declining afterwards is as easy as accepting was. If your browser sends a
Global Privacy Control signal, we treat that as a decline on arrival and do not ask you again.
Clearing your browser’s site data also clears the record of your choice, and you will be asked
fresh on your next visit.
Who else sees any of this
We do not sell your information, and we do not trade it. It reaches other companies only
where a company is doing a job we need done:
- Google — analytics and advertising, and only after you have accepted
cookies. Google’s own handling is described in its
privacy
policy. - Meta — advertising on Facebook and Instagram, on the same condition.
- Our web host and email provider — they necessarily hold the site and
the messages you send us.
Beyond that, we disclose information only where the law requires it of us.
What you can ask us to do
Florida’s and California’s consumer data statutes set revenue and volume thresholds that a
company of our size does not meet, so we are not going to pretend we are quoting a law at you.
We will honour these requests anyway, because they are reasonable:
- Tell you what we hold about you.
- Correct anything that is wrong.
- Delete it, unless we need it for a warranty, a permit record or an unpaid invoice.
- Stop sending you marketing, immediately and permanently.
Email sales@jupiterpergola.com and say which one you want. We will
answer within thirty days.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS, and form submissions and administrative access are protected
accordingly. No system is perfect and we are not going to claim ours is; what we can say is
that we hold as little as the work requires and for no longer than it requires.
Children
This site is aimed at homeowners, general contractors and design professionals in Palm Beach, Martin and St. Lucie counties. It is not directed at children, and we do not
knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has sent us
something, write to us and we will remove it.
Changes to this page
If we start using a tool that collects something new, this page changes first and the date
at the top changes with it. We will not quietly widen what we do and update the policy
afterwards.
